You Are Welcome Here
MCC Seattle meets for worship at 1 p.m. each Sunday in the Temple de Hirsch Sinai, located at 16th and East Pike Street in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood. Please park your car across the street in the large parking lot or on the nearby streets. Bus service runs along East Union Street with a bus stop shelter behind the Chapel at 16th Avenue. Come early so we can greet you and get to know you before worship. The doors of the Chapel open at 12:30 p.m.
Communion is offered at all worship services and everyone is invited to participate. During our services, you will experience a variety of worship music that reflects the eclectic history of the MCC churches. We use inclusive language in hymns, prayers, and readings to avoid exclusive gender references to God. Our pastor’s sermons often question the scriptures from the viewpoint of the Queer Community to which we belong.
Our worship services last about one hour and 15 minutes followed by a time of fellowship and snacks in the community room downstairs from the Chapel.
We would love to have you worship with us!
